Join us for UCM SPLASH 2020!

Splash will be on Saturday, April 11th, 2020

UC Merced will be hosting its 4th annual Splash conference! High school students are invited to UC Merced’s campus to take courses on literally (yes literally) anything (math, poetry, improve, game theory, college readiness, star wars, smash bros, etc!) taught by UC Merced students, faculty, staff, and local community members!

Program Information

Who: 9th – 12th graders

When: Saturday, April1th, 2020 from 9:00am - 5:00pm

Students can expect: A Campus Tour, Workshops, a Student Panel, and more!

How: The conference registration application form will become available on January 15th, 2019 by 1:00 pm. Then, if you are given a spot, you will be sent a confirmation email after applying with the workshop registration form to your email so you can register for the workshops of your choice on a first come first serve basis.

Steps on How to Apply


Fill out our Splash 2020 Registration by clicking APPLICATION FORM.


Wait for a confirmation! Keep an eye on your email after you apply. You will receive an email confirming your attendance if your application is approved.


Register for classes. After receiving your confirmation email, you will have to register for classes by using your user account. Simply log back into your account and select "Sign up for Classes".

Click Application Form on Step 1, then click "Update Information" at the bottom to see "Sign up for Classes"


Have your parent or guardian fill out the Photo/Video Release Form and Liability Waiver Forms. More details about how to fill out the forms will be sent in the confirmation email.

Step 5:

Confirm your registration. After registering, you will use your student account to confirm that you will be attending the conference by clicking the button that says "Confirm Registration."

Step 6:

Now, we wait for the day of Splash! Be sure to show up in time for check-in (8:00 am - 9:00 am) and to bring your school picture ID or another form of picture ID on the day of the conference!

P.S. Make sure to check every folder in your email. YES! Even your junk/spam folder!

Final Step Very Important

Sign the Release of Liability form and Photo/Video Release Form. Students under 18 will need a parent signature as well. Students can submit the forms one of two ways:

  • Download them as a pdf to sign them each electronically and email them to
  • Print them out, sign, and bring them the day of the conference.
