Learn at Splash!

Splash will be on March 3rd, 2018

Student application is now open! Deadline is on February 28th at 11:59pm.

UC Merced will be hosting its 2nd Splash conference! High school students are invited to UC Merced’s campus to take courses on literally (yes literally) anything (math, poetry, improve, game theory, college readiness…) taught by UC Merced students, faculty, staff, and local community members!

Steps on How to Apply


Click on the Class Catalog tab on top to view the workshops being offered and that interest you the most.


After looking through the workshops, click here to register for the conference and to sign up for your favorite workshops. Please chose you're top 5 workshops for the day. Keep in mind that all these courses are FIRST COME, FIRST SERVE. Please Print 2 forms: Waiver of Liability and Photo/Video Release form. Have them signed by both you and your Parent/Guardian. Pleas bring them to the day of the conference along with your High School ID.


Check your email for a confirmation. Now, we wait for the day of Splash!!

Program Essentials

Who: 9th – 12th graders

When: Saturday, March 3rd, 2018

What: Choose the courses that interest you the most.

How:The application form will become available on January 8th, 2018. Remember that this is a first come first serve application process. Once you choose your courses, those will be your set courses.

3:00pm-3:50pm Workshop #3
4:00pm-4:50pm Workshop #4
5:00pm - 6:00pm Closing

What you should bring (this is recommended not required)

Reusable water bottle

Backpack or bag



Snacks (Food will be be provided but you are allowed to bring additional snacks as well)
